MTC celebrates National Hidden Heroes Day

On 29 September, organisations across the country will celebrate their Hidden Heroes in a day run by the Butler Trust in partnership with HMPPS. Shining a light on the outstanding work of those working in the justice sector, we will be joining other organisations to share stories of employee excellence.

The national celebration day is a chance to ensure all our employees know we appreciate their work and recognise their achievements, as we have been doing with our internal #MTCHeroes rewards throughout the pandemic.

The stories of how they have uniformly risen to the challenge of working through an unprecedented time have been inspiring and extraordinary. There has been exceptional work done to ensure that service users remain engaged and focused on turning their lives around.

Through taking part in National Hidden Heroes Day, with social media and digital materials, we hope to support the wider initiative of improving the public’s awareness and understanding of the work that employees in prisons, probation and youth justice services do, to keep people safe and communities together.

Keep an eye on our twitter @MTCLivesTransf in the run up to the 29 September to see some celebrations of our #MTCHeroes.
