London Community Rehabilitation Company

With the largest number of service users of any UK Community Rehabilitation Company, London CRC covers a population of over 8 million, with 30,000 service users needing support in completing their probation orders.

Aiming to make the capital a safer place, skilled and experienced probation professionals, alongside our partners, work directly with service users to tackle the cause of their offending behaviour, and help turn their lives around. We work across all 33 boroughs to reduce reoffending and increase safety across the capital.

Our services

We work with service users aged 18 and over ensuring they complete their probation order and have the right support to make positive life changes and break the cycle of reoffending. We provide a variety of services, Interventions and Accredited Programmes and support from partners to help service users understand their actions and behaviours, making positive changes to reintegrate into their community. You can find out more about our particular interventions we offer on the Interventions page.

A tailored approach

Our qualified and experienced employees work with service users to understand the reasons for their offending, and what support they need to make positive changes. By tailoring how they work with each service user, probation officers ensure that they are engaged, driven and focused on how they can change and reintegrate into their community.

Probation Officers have access to a wide variety of interventions and tools to help them inspire service users, including Accredited Group Work Programmes, multiple online toolkits and Rehabilitative Activity Requirement (RAR) programmes developed in-house. Our Probation Officers use tailored combinations of these to help service users accept their own actions and move onwards.

Compliments and complaints

Getting it right is important to us

London Community Rehabilitation Company (CRC) is committed to high standards and we hope this is your experience of working with us.

If you do have a complaint about London CRC, complaints are dealt with in line with the current ongoing government guidelines contained in Probation Instruction 51/2014.

Compliments

If you want to thank someone from the CRC who has worked with you, please write to them at their office address or send them an email.

You can also do this through an email to CRC.Complaints@londoncrc.org.uk.

But what if I have a complaint?

We aim to resolve complaints informally at a local level whenever possible. To avoid the trouble of making a formal written complaint, a face-to-face meeting or telephone conversation with the person involved can often be the solution. If this is difficult, please ask to speak to a more senior member of London CRC’s staff.

Written complaints

If you are unable to resolve your complaint with your local office, you can make a formal complaint in writing within one year of the events concerned.

Send your signed formal complaint by email to:
CRC.Complaints@londoncrc.org.uk

Or write to:
Complaints Unit,
London CRC,
Camden House, 99 Arlington Road,

Camden, London. Email: crc.complaints@londoncrc.org.uk

Telephone: 020 7708 8115.
